Eggless Mawa cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Mawa cake

  • 150gms all purpose flour
  • 75gms butter
  • 150gms Powdered sugar
  • 100gms mawa
  • 100ml milk
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1tsp fresh cardamom powder

How to make Eggless Mawa cake

  1. Firstly sift flour ,baking powder ,soda,salt and cardamom powder
  2. Heat a pan with mawa milk and cream simmercfor 3-4 min,keep stirring until combined
  3. Remove from heat and place aside
  4. Cream butter sugar until smooth and fluffy
  5. Add the thickened milk mawa mixture
  6. Whisk it until well combined
  7. Fold the sifted flour into batches of three
  8. Pour the batter into greased loaf pan or any pan
  9. Bake in a preheated oven 180c for 35-40 min or until done
  10. Allow to cool completely and gently unmould

My Tip:

Use room temperature butter
