Ingredients to make 40 mins Eggless Whole wheat Buns

  • Whole wheat flour-1&3/4cups
  • Grated jaggery 1tbsp
  • water-1/2cup+3/4cups
  • Instant yeast-2tbsps
  • olive oil-2tbsps
  • salt-1/2tsp

How to make 40 mins Eggless Whole wheat Buns

  1. Add jaggery to 1/2cup of water and stir till dissolved. In a big bowl mix together flour,yeast and oil and mix with hands till combined. Add in the salt and mix. Make a well in the centre and add the jaggery dissolved water and the remaining 1/ 4th cup of water. Mix to form a smooth dough.Knead just for 5 mins.
  2. Divide the dough into 6 equal balls .Refer picture for folding. Fill it stuffing of your choice.Place them on silicon mat. Let proove for 10mins. Drizzle some water just enough to let them dry. In the meantime pre heat your oven at 225 degree celcius. Bake them for 20 Mins.Remove from oven .Let cool on wire rack. Brush the tops with olive oil.
