Pani Puri !

Ingredients to make Pani Puri !

  • potatoes - 6 boiled
  • onion - 2 big ones...cut fine
  • tomato - 2 cut small
  • ginger & Garlic paste - 1 & half tsp
  • coriander leaves for garnish
  • turmeric pwdr - half tspn
  • red chilly pwdr - half tspn(adjust to taste )
  • Garam masala - little (optional )
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 1 & half tbspn
  • For making puris (while serving)
  • Readymade puris - 1 or 2 big pkts
  • Sev - 1 cup
  • salted boondi - 1/4 th cup
  • onion chopped - 1 cup
  • tomato - half cup
  • coriander leaves - half cup
  • For the pani -
  • pudina leaves - 1 big cup
  • green chilly - 1
  • ginger - small piece
  • lemon - half
  • Everest Pani Puri masala - 1 to 2 tspn ( adjust to taste )
  • salt to taste
  • Chilled water - about 1 & half litre (adjust to taste )

How to make Pani Puri !

  1. In a kadai put oil & when hot add the chopped onions & saute well
  2. Put ginger garlic paste & cook till the raw smell goes.
  3. Now add the dry powders.... & chopped tomatoes...
  4. Fry well till soft. Add salt....mash the boiled potatoes.... put in the kadai & give a nice stir....
  5. Cook for 2 minutes...Turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves...Keep aside
  6. Now for making pani....
  7. Take a mixer jar & grind the pudina leaves, green chilly & ginger....
  8. Add it in the water....Put salt & pani puri masala.... squeeze lemon juice. ...Give a nice stir... Serve chilled....
  9. Before serving add salted boondi...
  10. Now assembling the pani puri
  11. Take a puri, make a hole in it & put the potato mixture.
  12. Then some chopped onions & tomatoes...
  13. Then little coriander leaves & sev....
  14. Pour chilled pani over the puri & enjoy it....
