Kodaishutir Kochuri / Matar ki kachori

Ingredients to make Kodaishutir Kochuri / Matar ki kachori

  • 300 gm flour
  • salt to season
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • For the filling
  • 2 cups green peas
  • i tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chilli
  • salt to taste

How to make Kodaishutir Kochuri / Matar ki kachori

  1. Sift the flour and add the salt. Rub in the oil thoroughly. Now knead using little water and form dough.
  2. Grind together green peas, ginger and chilli. Heat some oil and add the paste. Cook on a high flame, stirring all the time. You have to cook till it dried up completely.
  3. Now take small balls of the dough and add the filling.
  4. Roll into small puris and deep fry.

My Tip:

In case you do not want to have deep fried kachuris then you can pan fry them on a non stick tava like a paratha. .
