Ingredients to make Gur paratha/jaggery syuffed paratha

  • 250 gms wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp oil to knead the dough
  • 2 tbsp fine semolina
  • water to knead the dough
  • 150 gms jaggery
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom Powder
  • butter to roast the paratha
  • Dry flour for dusting

How to make Gur paratha/jaggery syuffed paratha

  1. Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl add the semolina...oil and knead the dough with water just as for chapatis....let it rest for 10 mins
  2. Take jaggery in a bowl if it's soft good enough if not add 2 tbsp water and heat it up in a microwave....add the cardamon powder and grated ginger....there should be no lumps.... Now take small dough balls as we do for stuffed paratha making space in the center fill 1bsp of the filling.... bring the ends together close the ends. Flatten it in between the palm dust it with dry flour and roll it out....roast it with butter on a heated pan....roast it on both the sides.....Delicious jaggery paratha is ready....serve it with curd...

My Tip:

Semolina give a grt crispy taste to the paratha...
