ABOUT Bajre ki meethi Roti with Gur(Jaggery) RECIPE

It is a traditional Bread eaten in the north of India during winter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Bajra atta
  2. 1/2 cup gur(jaggery)
  3. 1/4 cup desi ghee
  4. 1/2 Tsp Saunf
  5. 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat the water and add the gur.Stir till it melts.Keep aside to cool.
  2. Take bajra atta in a bowl and add the desi ghee and saunf and rub well.
  3. Slowly add the gur water mixture to knead the atta .
  4. Make two small balls and flatten them with your palm.
  5. Heat the tava on medium heat and grease it with little desi ghee.
  6. Place the roti on the tava.Flip it on the other side when cooked and brown in colour.
