Luchcha paratha

Ingredients to make Luchcha paratha

  • maida 1 cup ( 1/2 cup for dusting)
  • ghee/oil 1 tspoon fr dough( more for shallow frying)
  • salt 1/2 tspoon or as per taste
  • Warm water for kneading

How to make Luchcha paratha

  1. Take maida and salt in a bowl. Add 1 tspoon ghee to it.Now knead dough using warm water.
  2. Add small amount of water and knead. The dough should be soft like chapati dough.
  3. Apply some ghee on it and keep covered for 20 mint.
  4. Divide dough in 4 equal parts. Take one part and make thin chapati using dry maida(around 7-8 inch).
  5. Apply ghee all over the chapati and dust maida over it. Now make thin pleats like we do while making paper fan.
  6. Now hold both ends and stretch both ends a bit to make it a little longer. Now roll it in round shape llike swiss roll.
  7. Made paratha using rolling pin and dry maida. Now cook it well on your hot tava on both side applying enough ghee/oil on low/medium flame .
  8. You can replace maida by wheat floor also.It is also equally yumm.
