Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the malabi - 2 cups milk
  2. Sugar according to your taste
  3. 2 tbsp cornstarch
  4. 1/2 cup cold water
  5. 1 tsp rose water
  6. 1/4 cup heavy cream
  7. 1/4 cup pomengrate seeds
  8. 2 tbsp chopped pistachio for garnishing
  9. For the pomegranate syrup - 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  10. 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Take a pan, add milk and sugar. Stir continuously. Until milk starts boiling. Turn the heat to low.
  2. Now add cornstarch and water in separate bowl. Add cornstarch to the milk. Stir continuously, until the mix starts to thicken. Turn off the gas. Add heavy cream and rose water and whisk well.
  3. Transfer the mix into big bowl and keep into the refrigerator.
  4. Meanwhile for pomengrate syrup, take a pan ,add pomengrate juice and sugar. Cook for 3 -5 minutes . Turn off the gas and let it cool .
  5. Take out malabi from fridge, pour pomengrate syrup on it . Garnish with some pomengrate seeds and pistachio . Serve chilled .
