Ingredients to make A Chocolaty Affair

  • For chocolate cake-
  • all purpose flour 1 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1/8 tsp
  • baking soda 1/8 tsp
  • salt a pinch
  • Milk 4 tbsp
  • oil 2 tsp + 1 tsp for greasing
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • Unsalted butter 1 tsp
  • Milk 4 tbsp

How to make A Chocolaty Affair

  1. For the cake mix all dry ingredients
  2. Add milk and pour the batter into a greased microwave safe bowl
  3. Cook on micro mode at high for 1 min.
  4. Let it cool down and in the meantime prepare the sauce
  5. For sauce mix all ingredients and cook on slow flame till you get the right consistency.
  6. Now invert the cake and pour the hot sauce all over the cake to soak in.
  7. Serve

My Tip:

Be generous with the amonut of sauce and also pour the sauce hot so that it gets soaked in by the cake.
