Ingredients to make Green garlic thepla

  • Whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
  • Green garlic finely chopped 1/4 cup
  • sesame seeds 1tsp
  • bajra flour 1/4cup
  • oil 2 to 3tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • cumin powder 1/2tsp
  • Jira powder 1/2tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for kneading and cooking

How to make Green garlic thepla

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead in to a soft dough using enough water
  2. Divide the dough in to 10 equal portion
  3. Roll out each portion using a little wheat flour for rolling
  4. Heat nonstick tava and cook each thepla on a medium flame using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
  5. Serve hot with curd or pickle or potato subji
