Baked samosa

Ingredients to make Baked samosa

  • maida 1 1/2 cups
  • Suji 1/4 cup
  • 2 tblspn oil
  • Ajwain 1/4 tspn
  • salt 2- 3 pinch
  • water to make a soft dough
  • For masala Filling
  • 3- 4 boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • Some grated ginger
  • hing 1 pinch
  • jeera 1 tspn
  • haldi 1/4tspn
  • chilli powder 1/3 tspn
  • Chopped green chillies
  • dhania powder 2 tblspn
  • amchur powder 1/ 3 tspn
  • Garam masala 1/ 4 tspn
  • Chaat masala 1/4 tspn
  • Some mint leaves
  • Chopped fresh coriander
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of black salt
  • 1 tblspn mustard oil

How to make Baked samosa

  1. 1.For the dough mix all ingredients except water, then mix water little by little as required n make a soft dough n leave it aside for 15mins. 2. In a pan add mustard oil, hing, jeera grated ginger, haldi, chilli powder, dhaniya powder. When the masala starts crackling add mashed potatoes n peas. Then add rest of the masalas. Roast the filling nicely n when an aroma starts coming stwich off the gas n add mint leaves n coriander leavers n mix well. 3. Take a ball of the dough n roll it with the rolling pin into a little thick roti. Cut it to half from center. Take one half on ur palm put some water on the straight edge to seal the side to make a cone. Fill the potato masala nicely. Seal the mouth of the cone thoroughly. Make all samosas in the same way. Now brush up the samosas with some refund oil n put them in the baking tray . 4. Put the tray in the oven on grill mode n bake it till the samosas r brown in color from all sides. 5. Take them out from oven n serve hot with mint chutney n sweet imli chutney.
