Veg Mini Whole Wheat Pizza

Ingredients to make Veg Mini Whole Wheat Pizza

  • For the base: whole wheat flour - 225 gms
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 & a 1/2 tsp
  • milk powder & fresh yeast - 10 gms
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • water - 100 ml
  • For the Pizza sauce: tomatoes medium - 8
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • 5 - Garlic cloves
  • 1 - Green Capsicum
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs & 1/2 tsp sugar
  • For the topping: baby corn - 2 to 3 (Blanched)
  • sweet corn blacnhed) & bell pepper- 1/2 cup each
  • onion - 1
  • mushroom (optional) - 3 to 4 (Blanched)
  • broccoli - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 4 tbsp
  • pizza masala as required
  • cheese as required (whichever you like)

How to make Veg Mini Whole Wheat Pizza

  1. Mix whole wheat flour, salt, sugar, milk powder and sugar together.
  2. Add yeast. Knead with a paddle. Add water make a proper dough, add olive oil.
  3. Roll the dough, cut mini size pizzas, grease baking tray with oil. Place all pizza bases on the tray. Leave for 10 mins. Place the bases 1/2 or more inches apart.
  4. Take a fork & make holes. Preheat the oven at 180°C, bake for 8-10 mins.
  5. For the sauce: Blanch all tomatoes, remove skin, make paste of 4 tomatoes, chop the remaining.
  6. Heat olive oil, add garlic cloves, chopped capsicum, saute. Add chopped tomatoes, saute for 2 mins then add tomato paste.Bring to boil.
  7. Add salt & sugar, cover for 15-20 mins. Add mix herbs and stir, after 2 mins turn off the flame.
  8. For the topping: Cut onion & bell peppers in cubes, saute in olive oil, except onions. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  9. Now take the mini pizzas first put butter then pizza sauce, arrange the vegetables, sprinkle some pizza masala, grate cheese over it
  10. Preheat oven 180°C bake for 2 mins.

My Tip:

Home made pizza sauce is best.
