Ingredients to make Malai besan parantha

  • 1 1/2 cup wheat flour/atta
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For stuffing
  • 1 tbsp malai/fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 medium Chopped onion
  • salt to taste
  • ghee for frying

How to make Malai besan parantha

  1. For the dough,take atta, salt and ajwain in a bowl, add water to make a soft dough and keep aside for 15-20 mins.
  2. For the stuffing, mix malai, besan, coriander, onion ,red chilli powder and salt.
  3. Roll out the parantha and put little stuffing inside and roll again.
  4. Shallow fry the parantha on both sides with ghee till golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with your choice accompaniments, butter,pickle, chutney ,curd etc.

My Tip:

Keep the stuffing mix a little on dry side by adding more besan ,if required, as it helps in easy rolling .
