Ingredients to make Sevaiyan kheer/Vermicelli kheer

  • Vermicelli-1 cup
  • Milk-4 cups
  • sugar-1 cup
  • Dry fruits like cashewnuts,charoli,pista
  • cardamom powder-1 /2tsp
  • ghee-1 tbsp

How to make Sevaiyan kheer/Vermicelli kheer

  1. Heat ghee in a pan .Roast cashewnuts and take in a small bowl.Now add vermicelli and roast till it becomes golden in colour.
  2. Simultaneously heat milk on other gas.
  3. Add milk to roasted vermicelli.Stir for around 3 minutes and then add sugar.
  4. When the vermicelli is cooked add cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.Serve hot or cold as your guests like it.It tastes yummy either ways:-)

My Tip:

You can use roasted vermicelli also for this which will save more time.
