Ingredients to make Mint (pudina) square paratha

  • 1/2cup finely chopped mint leaves
  • 1cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2tsp carom seeds
  • 1tbsp oil
  • 1/2Tsp chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • Whole wheat flour for rolling
  • oil for cooking

How to make Mint (pudina) square paratha

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead in to a soft dough using enough water
  2. Divide the dough in to 6 equal portions
  3. Roll a portion into a circle using whole wheat flour for rolling
  4. Fold the 2 opposite corners of the roti towards the centre,
  5. Now fold the other 2 opposite corners similarly to make square envelope
  6. Heat a nonstick tava and cook the paratha using a little oil till it golden brown in colour
  7. Serve hot with curd or pickle

My Tip:

U can also add sesame seeds for crunch
