Ingredients to make Homemade ButterScotch Candy

  • 1-2 tbsp sugar
  • 2-1/2 tbsp butter
  • 3-1/2 tbsp cream

How to make Homemade ButterScotch Candy

  1. Melt sugar on very low flame, caramelized it
  2. As sugar caramelises turn off the flame
  3. Add butter and mix well again. Put on a very low flame cook. For few seconds, Then turn off the flame
  4. Now add cream and mix well , at this stage the caramel will become hard
  5. Now cook again on low flame. The caramel will dissolve
  6. And cook more till becomes like cream in consistency.
  7. Stop cooking, immediately pour over greased foil
  8. Cool down for few mins. Take a bottle cap and give a round candy shape press the cap and cut the candies
  9. Leave all candies to cool and dry
