Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 Kg Carrots
  2. Ghee 2 tablespoons
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Khoya 1/2 cup
  5. Milk 1/2 cup
  6. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Cashew nuts few
  8. Raisins few

Instructions

  1. Wash and grate carrots with hand or in the food processor.
  2. Take 2 Tablespoons ghee in a pan and fry raisins and cashew nuts in it.
  3. Keep the nuts and raisins aside and add grated carrots in the ghee.
  4. Cook it for 5 minutes and then add milk in it.
  5. Once the milk is reduced add grated khoya in it.
  6. Mix it well and then add sugar in it.
  7. Again mix it well and then add cardamom powder and dry fruits in it.
  8. When the Halwa becomes thick switch off the flame.
  9. Keep it in a serving plate and garnish with cashew nuts and few pieces of carrots.
