Mango Sheera

Ingredients to make Mango Sheera

  • semolina (Rava) 1/2 cup
  • mango pulp 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • water 1 and 1/2 cup
  • cardamom 1 tsp
  • ghee 1/4 cup

How to make Mango Sheera

  1. Heat pan, add ghee and roast the semolina till you get a nice roasted fragrance.
  2. Now add the Mango Pulp and mix well. Make sure you have no lumps.
  3. Now add the milk and water. Mix nicely and add sugar. Stir continuously so that it does not stick at the bottom. As soon as the sugar dissolves, the sheera will get a slight shine, that's when you know the semolina has cooked.
  4. Now add the cardamom and mix again. Serve hot.

My Tip:

You can also make pineapple sheera, using the same process. Add pineapple Pulp instead. Garnish the sheera with banana or any nuts
