Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Besan 1/2 cup.
  3. Ghee 2 tbsp
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Dates 10 to 15 (Soaked and deseeded )
  6. Carrot grated 1
  7. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Blend dates soaked in little milk.
  2. Mix both the flours , add ghee( warm).
  3. Squeeze out water from carrot and add Carrot. Preserve the squeezed water.
  4. Add blended Dates and Sesame seeds. Mix flour well rubbing between palms.
  5. Warm the milk and add gradually to knead a tight dough.
  6. Heat nonstick griddle. Make 8 to 10 balls of flour.
  7. Roll the flour 1.5 inch Bhakhari. Roast on slow flame first and than on medium pressing with cotton napkin.
  8. Roast well till you get a nice aroma of Dates, Sesame seeds and Milk and get brown colour.
  9. Serve hot with evening Tea/ Coffee or if eating in main meal than it goes best with Punjaabi mix daal ( masala daal).
