Urad Dal Wheat Poori

Ingredients to make Urad Dal Wheat Poori

  • Wheat flour 150 gms
  • Sooji 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt as required
  • Ghee 1 tablespoon
  • Water
  • For Masala -
  • Urad dal 50g
  • Saunf 1 teaspoon
  • Dhaniya 2 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds 2 tablespoon
  • Pepper corns 5
  • Kashmiri Chilly 3
  • Oil as required for frying

How to make Urad Dal Wheat Poori

  1. Make a dough with wheat flour Let it rest for 30 mins.
  2. Soak Urad daal for 3 hours.Now grind Urad dal
  3. Other than Urad dal. Fry all the other ingredients and make a powder.
  4. Now add 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan add all ground masala and Urad dal and little salt and some coriander leaves. Make it dry.
  5. Let it cool for some time then make dumplings and make stuffed poories using wheat flour
  6. Serve
My Tip: Make curd Raitha for side dish.
