ABOUT Peshwari Naan RECIPE

Peshwari Naan is one of popular traditional flat breads of india baked in Tandoor. It is a type of naan where it is fully filled with dry fruits like almonds, cashews, dates and raisins. The word naan is derived from persian word nan which means bread. In Afghanistan, Tandoor was used as a community oven where people would come with a dough and nan waee ( naan baker) would bake for some fee. The traditional naans were seen in Teardrop shape. But actually naan got this shape because of slapping a round ball of dough onto the hot surface of outside the oven. Due to the soft pillow kind of dough, the dough would come down and finally tear drop shape would result. This dry fruits naan is very delicious and healthy too. I
