Ingredients to make Kharvas

  • 2 1/2 cup milk (do not use low fat milk )
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup greek yoghurt (chakka)
  • kesar (optional )
  • cardamom powder(optional )

How to make Kharvas

  1. Boil the milk and sugar together , mix well in it
  2. Let it cool to room temperature
  3. Beat (Whisk) yoghurt nicely without any lumps
  4. Now add yoghurt (hung curd) Cardamom powder mix well
  5. Now pour in bowl then steam it for 20 to 25 minutes
  6. Let it set for 1 to 2 hrs
  7. Cut into pieces garnish with kesar
  8. Serve hot or cold

My Tip:

We serve cold it is very tasty. Add sugar according to taste
