Ingredients to make Seven Cup Cake

  • besan flour 1 cup
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Grated coconut 1 cup
  • Sugar 3 cups

How to make Seven Cup Cake

  1. Grease the plate or any cake tray with ghee. Measure all ingredients and keep ready.
  2. Dry Roast the besan flour in a heavy bottom pan. Once the raw smell goes add the coconut and form a mixture of crumbled texture.
  3. Then add the milk and ghee and mix well without lumps.
  4. Add the Sugar to it and mix well. Once you start cooking with sugar it releases more water .
  5. Then it starts boiling. Once it starts to leave the sides and form a frothy layer. Then you can turn off the flame.
  6. Now pour it in the greased plate and allow it to cool for five minutes. Then cut into desired shape and allow to cool completely.  
  7. Then take the pieces out and then store in an airtight container.
My Tip: If you like the bites of nuts in your burfi. Reduce half a cup of sugar and add chopped nuts instead.
