Sooji Jaggery Ladoo

Ingredients to make Sooji Jaggery Ladoo

  • 1 cup sooji 
  • 1/3 cup coconut powder
  • 1/4 cup clarified ghee
  • 3/4 cup jageery melted
  • 2 tablespoons cashews crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom crushed
  • 1 tablespoon raisins

How to make Sooji Jaggery Ladoo

  1. Heat one tablespoon of ghee in a small pan over medium low heat
  2. Roast the cashews for about 2 minutes until light golden brown. 
  3. Add raisins and roast for another minute, raisins will puff up.
  4. Heat the remaining ghee in a frying pan over low medium heat, add sooji and roast until it changes the color.
  5. Add coconut and roast stirring continually for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add nuts, cardamom, and melted jageery stir until everything mix well. Turn off the heat.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Make lemon size laddos
  8. Serve after an hour

My Tip:

Ladoos can be stored in air tight container for about 10 days.
