Ingredients to make Maida Ki Burfi

  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Water 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Any food colour 3 drops
  • cashew nuts 10

How to make Maida Ki Burfi

  1. Heat a pan ,add 1/4 cup ghee .and add 1/2 cup maida mix well.roast will until you get nice aroma without changing its color keep aside.
  2. In another heavy bottomed pan .add 1 cup of sugar .so adding 3/4 cup of water .
  3. Boil until one string consistency is reached .check between your fingers a string should form .
  4. Switch off the flame and add the roasted maida.add 1 tsp vanilla essence 3 drops of food color mix well to dissolve it in the sugar syrup keep mixing.
  5. When it starts cooling down .it becomes thick.once thick as well as spreadable transfer in to a greased plate.
  6. Spread evenly with a greased flat bottomed bowl or greased spatula .
  7. Cool down and invert the plate.cut into diamond shape or any desired shape.
  8. Garnish with cashew nuts.
