Quick Firni Kheer

Ingredients to make Quick Firni Kheer

  • Leftover plain rice 3 tbs
  • Sugar 1 tbs
  • Milkmaid 2 tbs
  • Full fat milk 250 ml
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Custard powder 1tsp mixed in 1/4 cup milk
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Kesar few strands optional
  • Nariyal powder 1 tsp optional

How to make Quick Firni Kheer

  1. Grind rice with water in a mixer for 30- 40 seconds.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Pour rice mixture in it. Give a quick mix and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add milk to this. Once it boils, keep the flame to low. Add Milkmaid and mix. Now pour custard mixture and kesar strands and mix well.
  4. Keep stirring for further 5 minutes on low flame. Add sugar and nariyal powder and mix. Switch off the flame. Let it cool for a while and serve.
My Tip: You can add any chopped nuts of your choice and it Tastes best when chilled.
