Ingredients to make Gulab Jamun CheeseCake

  • For the Syrup -
  • 100 grams jaggery
  • 1 Cup water
  • kesar few strands
  • Elachi 2
  • For the jamuns-
  • 1/2 kg Khoya
  • 4 to 5 tbsp maida
  • Crushed dried rose buds
  • For the base -
  • 1 packet digestive biscuits
  • 2 packets good day badam pista biscuits
  • 100 grams butter
  • For the Cheese cake -
  • 3 cups Cream cheese(paneer)
  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1/4 tin milkmaid
  • Crushed rose buds few
  • 1 packet gelatine or agar agar powder

How to make Gulab Jamun CheeseCake

  1. For syrup -
  2. Take jaggery water elachi and water and boil it to get 1 string consistency
  3. For the jamuns-
  4. Take khoya and knead it. Add rose buds (crushed)
  5. Add 1 tbsp maida at a time
  6. Keep kneading till it is nice and soft
  7. Make small balls and fry in pure ghee on slow flame
  8. Drop them in the syrup
  9. Base-
  10. Take the buiscuits grind them and add butter and set in a pie pan(i took 10 inches)
  11. Add cut jamuns on the base and let it set for sometime
  12. For the cream cheese -
  13. Take cheese, add hung curd milkmaid and crushed rose buds
  14. Whip nicely
  15. Foe gelatine -
  16. Take gelatine add water and let it bloom
  17. Can use agar agar powder as well
  18. Add the gelatine and pour the mix immediately over the jamuns
  19. Decorate as with gulab jamuns and rise buds and kesar badam pista
  20. Let it set in the fridge overnite
  21. Serve

My Tip:

For the rose buds - take pink baby buds add rose water on it and dry them in Sun and store in the fridge. Stays well for sometime
