Ingredients to make Gulab Jamun

  • Mava 250 gm
  • Maida 100 grams
  • Suger 300 grams
  • Cardamom 5--6
  • Nuts (Almond, cashew nut, pista) 8-10
  • Ghee for frying

How to make Gulab Jamun

  1. Mash mava with light hands and add maida. Mix well
  2. Make a smooth dough
  3. Grind dry fruits for stuffing and keep aside
  4. Make small size balls
  5. Fill dry fruit stuffing in the ball and roll again
  6. Put another pan(kadhai)on gas add sugar and water for sugar syrup. Boil it till sugar dissolves and the syrup becomes slightly thick
  7. Fry gulab jamun till golden brown.
  8. Add gulab jamun in sugar syrup.Keep for 20 minutes.
  9. Serve hot or cold
