Strawberry Shrikhand

Ingredients to make Strawberry Shrikhand

  • Yogurt / Hung curd 2 cups
  • Strawberries 15-20
  • Granulated sugar 2 tbs
  • Powdered sugar 3 1/2 tbs
  • Few drops of strawberry essence

How to make Strawberry Shrikhand

  1. Place yogurt in a muslin cloth, tie it and hang to drain water, set aside in the refrigerator for 6-7 hours to get hung curd.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan add chopped strawberries and granulated sugar and mix well and cook till strawberries are soft. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. Take hung curd in a bowl add powder sugar mix well add strawberry essence and mix again. Blend well with a hand blender.
  4. Add cooked strawberries and mix well.
  5. -Garnish with a strawberry fan and serve chilled with puris and paranthas
  6. 6-Enjoy this fresh fruit dessert
My Tip: Hang yogurt for at least 4-5 hours for better results
