Carrot Halwa

Ingredients to make Carrot Halwa

  • Fresh Carrot 1kg
  • Sugar to taste
  • Mawa 200gms
  • 1/2 cup nuts and dry fruits(Chopped cashew, almond and raisins)
  • 1/4 cup Desi ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Milk (enough to cover grated carrots)

How to make Carrot Halwa

  1. Wash and peel and grate all carrots
  2. Take a nonstick karai, add ghee
  3. Add garam masala then grated carrots saute for some time
  4. Add boiled milk and cook till carrots soften
  5. Add sugar
  6. Add khowa/mewa and dry fruits
  7. Cook till thick and halwa like in consistency. Serve hot
My Tip: Add roasted dry fruits for a better flavour
