Fruit Custard

Ingredients to make Fruit Custard

  • Fruits of choice like mango, pomegranate, apple, grapes etc
  • For Custard -
  • Milk 1 litre
  • Sugar- 1 cup
  • Milk powder- 1/4 th cup
  • Corn starch powder- 1/4th cup
  • Vanilla essence- 3 drops
  • Salt- 1tsp
  • Yellow colour 1 pinch

How to make Fruit Custard

  1. Boil milk
  2. Add milk powder, corn starch to little water and pour it into milk stirring for few minutes
  3. Add vanilla essence and yellow food colour and keep stirring till it reaches a thick consistency .
  4. Keep it in the refrigerator.
  5. In a serving bowl, add mixed fruits and pour this chilled custard. Sprinkle dry roasted nuts and tutti frutti for extra delight.
  6. Enjoy chilled fruit custard
My Tip: Never mix fruits with custard and chill. After adding fruits, the consistency becomes thin.
