Eggless Baked Donuts

Ingredients to make Eggless Baked Donuts

  • 1 cup organic maida
  • 2-3 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • ½ cup lukewarm milk
  • ½ teaspoon yeast
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • For dark Ganache- 100 gm dark Chocolate
  • 50 gm fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon butter.

How to make Eggless Baked Donuts

  1. Activate the yeast in the lukewarm milk after adding sugar to it.
  2. Add it to the maida. Using spatula mix it up.
  3. Add butter and essence. Mix gently.Leave to double up.
  4. Using little flour, smoothen the dough so that it can be rolled.
  5. Roll out small rounds of 1 cm thickness.
  6. Using a glass give doughnuts shapes. Cut off the excess.
  7. Make the centre hole using a bottle cap.
  8. Keep on a lined baking tray. Brush lightly with melted butter.
  9. It will swell up in 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven after 20 minutes are over at 180 degrees.
  11. Bake them for about 15 minutes till golden brown.
  12. On a double boiler, melt all the ingredients for ganache.
  13. Remove and whisk gently. Let it come to room temperature and use.
  14. Remove the donuts from the oven and dip in the ganache.
  15. Garnish with sugar balls
My Tip: Decorate with flavored choco chips, grated chocolate , sprinklers etc.
