A very tasty & simple paneer recipe my way

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer - 400 gms
  2. Onion - 5 big cut into small pieces
  3. Tomato - 4 medium sized cut into cubes
  4. Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  5. Red chilly powder - half tsp
  6. Paneer Butter Masala powder - 2 tsp (adjust to taste )
  7. Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  8. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  9. Butter - 5 to 6 tbsp
  10. Cream - for garnishing ( adjust to taste )
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil - 1 tbsp
  13. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  14. Cashew - 10
  15. water for cooking

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashew and make a paste and keep aside
  2. Now in a kadai put oil and 2 tbsp of butter and add sliced onion. Saute
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste. Fry well till the raw smell goes.
  4. Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook for a few minutes. Cook on high heat. Add paneer butter masala powder. Turn off the gas.
  5. In the meantime cut the paneer into shape of your choice
  6. When the sauteed onion and tomato cools down, make a paste in a blender
  7. Now take another kadai put remaining butter. When hot, add this paste & required water & bring it to a boil.
  8. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and paneer cubes.
  9. Pour the cashew paste and cook again. Now add kasuri methi
  10. After the paneer cooks turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
  11. Serve Hot with Roti or Naan.
