BasarWara Pakoda ( Onion Bhajis )

Ingredients to make BasarWara Pakoda ( Onion Bhajis )

  • 2 cups chickpea flour ( Besan )
  • 2 small onions, chopped very fine
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon whole coriander seeds, crushed coarsely
  • salt to taste
  • water as needed
  • oil for Deep frying
  • 2 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped

How to make BasarWara Pakoda ( Onion Bhajis )

  1. In a bowl, take the Chickpea flour and add chopped onion, green chillies, ground whole dhania, salt, red chilli powder and green fresh coriander.
  2. Add water to make a thick , smooth paste.
  3. Rest it for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat oil for deep frying.
  5. With a big serving spoon / icecream scooper, put in a few dumplings and fry just a bit.
  6. These will be still raw in the centre,
  7. From each round, break off 4-5 small bhajiyas.
  8. Again, fry these smaller pieces on low to medium heat till crisp.
  9. Hot, spicy, crispy pakodas are ready.

Serve with dhania Chutney
