Ingredients to make Fish Molly

  • Mackerel fish 1/2 kg
  • For marination - 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt
  • chilly Powder 1tsp
  • pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • For gravy -
  • coconut oil 4 tbsp
  • mustard 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves 4-5
  • onion 2
  • tomato 1
  • ginger paste 1 tsp
  • chilly powder 2 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1tbsp
  • cumin powder 1pinch
  • coconut milk 1/2 cup
  • tamarind 2 piece

How to make Fish Molly

  1. Marinate the fish with spices above. Leave for 15 minutes
  2. Heat the pan add oil, mustard, curry leaves
  3. Saute the onion and tomato until it cooks well.
  4. Add ginger paste
  5. Add spices, chilly powder, coriander powder and saute it until raw smell goes.
  6. Add sufficient water for making gravy.
  7. Put the marinated fish pieces into it.
  8. Add salt
  9. When the fish pieces cook well add tamarind pieces add coconut milk and cook for 2 mins.
