Ingredients to make Badam Kulfi

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Almond powder- 1 cup
  • Sugar-1 cup
  • Chopped almonds- 2 tbsp
  • Elachi powder- 1 tsp
  • Almond essence- 3 drops
  • Saffron - 5 strands ( soaked in warm milk )

How to make Badam Kulfi

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan
  2. Add sugar, almond powder, almond essence, elachi powder, saffron milk, chopped almonds and cook well till it reaches a thick consistency.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for 15 mins and pour it into kulfi moulds.
  4. Keep it in the freezer for 6 to 7 hours.
  5. Enjoy chilled kulfi
My Tip: To get a thick consistency, we can add condensed milk or khoya.
