Narkel Naru ( Nariyal Laddoo)

Ingredients to make Narkel Naru ( Nariyal Laddoo)

  • 2 cups grated fresh coconut
  • 1 cup gur grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon elaichi powder
  • A little ghee to grease your palms while making laddoos

How to make Narkel Naru ( Nariyal Laddoo)

  1. Mix the grated coconut and the gur in a bowl. Mix well.
  2. Put the mixture into a kadhai and put on the fire.
  3. Cook for five minutes and the gur will start melting.
  4. Keep stirring constantly, once it reaches a string consistency, turn off the heat
  5. Let it cool for a few minutes and then grease your palms and make laddoos.
  6. Serve as snacks or dessert.

My Tip:

Do not overcook, take it off the fire while the gur is still in liquid stage Otherwise, the laddoos will become rock solid.
