Ingredients to make Jamun Cheesecake Jar

  • ¼ cup jamun puree
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsps arrowroot powder
  • 1/2 tbsp canola oil
  • 4 tbsp low fat milk
  • 6 digestive biscuits
  • Extra canola oil for binding

How to make Jamun Cheesecake Jar

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, arrowroot powder and jamun puree. Place this bowl over a pot of simmering water and continue to beat well. Cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add the canola oil to the mixture. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. Crush the digestive biscuits with a rolling pin. Mix the oil and press into the jar.
  4. Add the milk layer next followed by the jamun curd. Keep in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.
