Ingredients to make Eggless Whole Wheat Flour Baked Doughnuts

  • For dough -
  • Whole wheat flour 1 -1/4 cups
  • yogurt. 1/4 cup
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • salt 1 pinch
  • For sugar syrup / Glazing/ Coating -
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  • Melted butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Warm water 2 cups

How to make Eggless Whole Wheat Flour Baked Doughnuts

  1. In a bowl add whole wheat flour add butter, add baking powder, baking soda, powdered sugar, vanilla essence, salt.
  2. Add yogurt and make a crumbled dough if needed add warm milk to make a pliable dough. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes to half an hour
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C for 10 minutes. Roll out whole dough with a rolling pin. Make a cut with a glass in centre use small bottle cap.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the doughnuts in the tray
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, turn the sides of doughnuts in between.
  6. Cool them on the wire rack
  7. Make sugar glaze for doughnuts by mixing together all the ingredients for glaze Dip the doughnuts in the glaze for 15 minutes
  8. Serve
  9. you can keep the doughnuts in the fridge for one week
