TADKA DAHI

Ingredients to make TADKA DAHI

  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 tbsp chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • Hing a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp zeera powder
  • ½ tbsp Oil

How to make TADKA DAHI

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add hing and mustard seeds. Allow mustard seeds to splutter.
  2. Add chopped green chilli, onions, tomatoes and cook for 1 min. Don't overcook. Allow it to cool.
  3. Whisk hung curd well. Adjust its consistency by adding water.
  4. Add cooked masala into the hung curd. Add salt, black pepper, zeera powder, chaat masala to taste. Mix well. Garnish with chopped mint leaves.
My Tip: Don’t add hot masala into the hung curd. Allow it to cool for sometime.
