Ingredients to make Methi mutter malai

  • chopped fresh methi \/fenugreek leaves
  • 1bunch
  • boiled green peas 1cup
  • 2tbsp of cashewnuts
  • soaked in warm water
  • finely chopped onion
  • greenchilli +garlicpaste 2tsp
  • malai 2tbsp
  • aamchur powder 1tsp
  • sugar half tsp (optional)
  • oil \/ghee\/butter 2tsp (I have used olive oil)
  • jeera half tsp

How to make Methi mutter malai

  1. In a deep pan add oil
  2. let it become warm
  3. now add jeera
  4. add greenchilli garlicpaste
  5. saute for sometime
  6. add cashewnuts paste
  7. mix properly for 3-4 minutes
  8. now add methi leaves and aamchur
  9. mix and cover it cook for sometime
  10. remove lid and add boiled green peas
  11. again mix it and add salt and sugar
  12. cook for 5minutes more
  13. methi mutter malai is ready
My Tip: Using fresh peas will give more good taste to this dish
