Ingredients to make Dry Fruit Pots( No Sugar, No Milk)

  • dried figs- 1 cup ( chopped)
  • dates- 1cup ( chopped)
  • dates paste- 1/2 cup
  • Almonds, pistachios,cashews ( 1 cup )
  • Elachi-3 ( powdered)
  • ghee-2 spoons
  • Khus -khus- for garnish

How to make Dry Fruit Pots( No Sugar, No Milk)

  1. In a microwave bowl, add 1/2 cup dates and water and microwave for 3 minutes.
  2. Allow it to cool and then grind to a paste.
  3. In a non- stick pan, add dates paste and little water and cook for 5 mins.
  4. Now add sliced khajoor and dates as shown in the photo and add to dates paste and cook for 10 mins.
  5. In another pan, add a spoon of ghee and roast nuts
  6. When the date paste becomes thick and leaves the pan, add roasted nuts and cook for 5 min and remove from flame.
  7. Allow it to cool and then apply ghee to your palms and take a small dough and make like balls and make a hole in the middle as shown in photo and quickly roll in khus khus seeds.
  8. In the dent e , add roasted nuts and on top place sliced pistachios.
  9. Our dry fruit pots are ready and will stay good upto 1 week in refrigerator.

My Tip:

We can use any dry fruits available in our kitchen.as dates and khajoor are natural sweeteners, we need not use sugar.
