ABOUT Chocolate Gujiya RECIPE

This is a traditional gujiya recipe with the addition of chocolate. Chocolate gives it a unique taste

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sugar 1 cup
  2. Aata 2 cups
  3. Ghee 1 cup
  4. Dry fruits 1/2 cup
  5. Khoya 1 cup
  6. Elaichi powder 2 teaspoons (1 tsp for mix 1 tsp for syrup)
  7. Sugar according to need
  8. Melted Chocolate for dipping gujiya

Instructions

  1. Keep all the ingredients ready
  2. Mix ghee in the atta.
  3. Make a nice dough by mixing them all
  4. Now mix all the dry fruits and 1 tsp elaichi powder Into the mawa
  5. Now roll the dough balls into a roti
  6. Fill them with the mawa mix
  7. Join the edges and shape into gujiya by folding the edges or cutting with the gujiya cutter
  8. Deep fry gujiyas until golden
  9. Now keep gujiyas aside to cool down
  10. In another pan, Mix sugar and water and let it boil .
  11. Boil till to get syrup of one string consistency
  12. Add elaichi powder. Now add gujiya
  13. For chocolate gujiya, dip gujiya into melted chocolate. Sprinkle nuts and serve
