Veg Schezwan Momos

Ingredients to make Veg Schezwan Momos

  • Dough -
  • maida - 1/2 cup
  • wheat flour - 1/2 Cup
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 1tsp
  • water as needed
  • For stuffing -
  • Finely chopped mixed vegetables - 2 cups (onion capsicum cabbage carrot and i also added some corn)
  • ginger- garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Schezwan sauce - 2 tbsp
  • tomato ketchup - 1- 2 tsp (optional)
  • Chill tomato sauce for serving.

How to make Veg Schezwan Momos

  1. Dough-
  2. In a bowl take both flours add salt ànd a tsp of oil and make dough using water as needed to make soft dough. .
  3. Make equal small balls- about 20 -26 balls and roll them round
  4. For stuffing -
  5. In a pan add a tbsp of oil when it heats add ginger and garlic paste and saute for few seconds add all vegetables and salt mix it add schezwan sauce tomato sauce and mix and cook for 2 to 4 minutes. Remove in a bowl and let it cool.
  6. Take one roundel on your left palm put a 1 tbsp of stuffing and give different shapes to momos.
  7. Now heàt water in a steamer. Grease one plàte or arrange cabbage leafs on it. Arrange the momos and steam for 10 - 12 minutes or till done.
  8. Serve immediately with chillie tomato sauce.

My Tip:

You can make many variations in momos stuffing like soya or noodles etc. You can give different flavours to dough.
