Ingredients to make modaks

  • \n 4 leftover chappati
  • \n 2tbsp jaggery finely chopped
  • \n cardmom powder half tsp
  • \n ghee 2tsp
  • \n badam and pistachio flakes \n

How to make modaks

  1. Make small pieces of chappati
  2. grind it in mixer grinder
  3. seive it with big hole seiver
  4. In a deep pan add ghee
  5. add grinded Roti powder
  6. roast it for 2-3 minutes
  7. on slow flame
  8. remove it in other plate
  9. add jaggery in same hot pan
  10. let it melt ,add cardmom powder
  11. mix jaggery with spatula
  12. switch off flame ,add badam flakes
  13. now shape modaks with mould
  14. modaks are ready to eat
My Tip: Don't roast roti powder too much it should be soft
