It is a healthy and tasty recipe which can be eaten in breakfast or as evening snack. It can be packed in lunch box also

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup Rajma or red kidney beans (soaked over)
  2. 3 cups water
  3. 1 sliced onion
  4. 1 chopped tomato
  5. 1 green chilli
  6. Salt according to taste
  7. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  8. 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder
  9. 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  10. 1 teaspoon of chaat masala
  11. 1 Pinch haldi powder
  12. 2 to 3 teaspoons tomato puree
  13. 4 to 5 teaspoon tomato ketchup
  14. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  15. 1/4 cup green dhaniya for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil overnight soaked Rajma in pressure cooker with 3 cups of water and a 1 teaspoon of salt and pinch of haldi
  2. For stuffing, take a kadahi or a fry pan put some oil into it, I have used olive oil you can use any vegetable oil. Once oil heats up put sliced onion and green chili into it
  3. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes add tomato and all the dry masalas, which is red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, chaat masala and salt to taste
  4. Now add some rajma stock into it mix well and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes so that tomatoes get soft
  5. Now put boiled rajma, tomatoe pure and mix herbs into it and mix well
  6. Lastly put some green dhaniya and mix well. Stuffing for wraps is ready
  7. Now prepare rotis
  8. Take a circular roti which should be half cooked from one side
  9. Now take the roti and spread some ketchup on one side of roti like pizza
  10. Now spread stuffed rajma in center of roti and just press a little
  11. Now cover roti from one side and brush with some oil
  12. Repeat for the second side also
  13. Brush some oil and cook on tawa
  14. Your rajma roti wraps are ready to eat
