Butter Chicken

Ingredients to make Butter Chicken

  • Boneless chicken 400 gms
  • yogurt 3 Tbsp
  • Garam masala3 tsp (2 tsp for marination and 1 tsp for gravy)
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • dhania powder 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • ginger garlic paste 3 tsp (2tsp for marination and 1tsp for gravy)
  • tomato puree 125 ml(1 cup)
  • Amul Fresh cream 250 ml
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • oil
  • Red food colour 1 pinch
  • coriander leaves (For garnish)

How to make Butter Chicken

  1. Take boneless chicken and marinate it with yogurt, dhania powder, chilli powder, 2 tsp Garam masala powder, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste salt.
  2. Marinate for about 1/2 hour.
  3. Take a pan, pour some oil and cook the chicken until the water evaporates.
  4. Take the pressure cooker, put some oil and 1tsp ginger garlic paste and stir.
  5. Add tomato puree in it
  6. Add the fresh cream and cashew paste ,butter and mix well
  7. Add 1 tsp Garam masala and salt
  8. Add crushed kasuri method and pinch of food colour dissolved in water. Mix well.
  9. At last add the cooked chicken in it.
  10. Cover the lid and give 2 whistles and then switch off the gas.
  11. Your butter chicken is ready. Garnish with cream and coriander leaves before serving.
