Ingredients to make Kesariya Rajbhog

  • Fresh chena 250g
  • 2 tsp Arrowroot powder
  • Cardamom 6-7
  • Pista almond chopped 10-12
  • Few stands saffron
  • Rose syrup 1 tsp
  • For sugar syrup -
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Water 3 1/2 cup

How to make Kesariya Rajbhog

  1. Soak pista badam in hot water for few minutes. Drain and chop them roughly. Add cardamom powder
  2. Take chhena. Mash it till become a smooth dough.
  3. Divide chenna into equal portions
  4. Stuff pista badam in chenna balls.
  5. Combine sugar and water and bring it to a boil and make thin sugar syrup
  6. Remove scum if any. Add saffron strands gently, slide in stuffed chena balls
  7. Cook it for 5 min on high flame
  8. Then cook it on low flame for 10 minutes when it will be double in size remove from heat cool it
  9. Serve chilled
My Tip: Flip rasgulla in sugar syrup gently
