Ingredients to make Fareesa Farheen

  • Milk 1/2 liter
  • Custard powder 2 1/2 tbsp
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • Jello 1 sachet
  • Water 1cup
  • Mix fruit tin or fresh fruits 1 cup
  • Sponge cake

How to make Fareesa Farheen

  1. In a sauce pan add milk, custard powder and sugar now bring it to boil while stirring it continuously to avoid the formation of lumps.
  2. Once it comes to a boiling point, reduce heat and cook for 3 more minutes till the consistency is saucy. Then refrigerate it till it gets cool.
  3. Now make jello by adding 1cup of water and jello powder then pour half inch of jello in individual bowls or small size tray.
  4. Refrigerate and leave it to set.
  5. Take a sponge cake( I used homemade cake and cut it into small rectangular shape). Now it's time to arrange the dessert. Once the jello sets, arrange sponge cake on top of it the pour little custard on the cake. Add fruits in layer now. Pour leftover custard. On top decorate with fruits and jello.
My Tip: Don't use fresh pineapple in custard it tastes bitter , instead use tinned pineapple
