Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1.5 litre
  2. Sugar 250 gms
  3. Khowa 50 gms
  4. Ghee 3 tbsp
  5. 1/4 cup Almonds,pistachios, cashews
  6. 1 pinch kesar

Instructions

  1. Make chhena from 1 litre milk by adding vinegar. Drain the water. Wash thoroughly
  2. Put a heavy vessel so that all the water comes out from chhena. Then cut the chhana in cube forms
  3. Heat ghee in a pan. Fry the pieces of chhena untill brown. Keep aside
  4. Now boil the remaining milk. Add sugar. Stir to dissolve. Add khowa. Stir till the milk will turn into rich and thick form.
  5. Add dry fruits. Mix. Add kesar (diluted in lukewarm milk) Stir
  6. Now add the fried chhana pieces. Stir gently and let it cook for 3 minutes
  7. Serve in a decorated bowl. Garnish with finely chopped dry fruits.
